Panther Co-Captain Daniel Maitland's terrific season has been rewarded with the huge honour of winning the Division 1 Best and Fairest (the The L.S.Pepper Cup) this week. Maits has been an enormous contributor to the club both on and off the field, in particular through his natural leadership as well as his fitness coaching which has taken the teams fitness to another level. Dan took out the award with 24 votes, narrowly defeating Old Paradians Sean Miller (23) by one vote. Darcy Brown should also be highly commended on finishing fourth on 17 votes, a huge effort after a few missed games this season. Congratulations from all of the OMFC community to Dan and Darcy!
