Round 4 Match Review U19's defeat Ormond and remain undefeated after 4.

U19s v Ormond AFC

Home at Keysborough Playing Fields

19.14-128 def. 5.6-36

The U19s were the only team who played at home this past weekend, taking on Ormond it what was a top of the ladder clash, so the boys knew they had to be on from the start. And boy were they on, coming out hard in the first quarter with the wind, to kick 7 goals to nothing.

The 19s had a surprising in for the day, with Tomoya Owens registering the morning of, and then kicking four goals within the first half. Ormond went with the wind in the second quarter, but could not capitalise, with only 2 goals added to their tally, and another 5 goals for our boys.

In the second half, there was just more brilliance from the backline, building a solid wall to stop Ormond from advancing. Jeremy Williams was on fire, kicking 6 majors for the day, with Owens and Curley adding their own to the scoreboard. A couple of minor injuries were the only negatives to come out of the day, with contributions from all the boys in what was a dominating performance.
