Seniors impressive outing v Black Rock

The Senior squad of 40+ players, impressed in their 5 quarter practice match on Thrusday night, albeit against an understrength and undermanned Black Rock team. But the players were obviously playing to a plan of fast flow on football, with runners streaming past all night, and forwards leading up to advantage. It was great to watch, even if a little one sided.

The big test will come on April 2nd at Keysborough in the opening round, where we come up against an historically strong Old Ivanhoe. If we can maintain the run, kicking and hand passing to moving targets, forwards leading to space, and are able to execute and deliver as we did on Thursday, then we could be in with a show.

With Pink Panthers also having a practice match win last Saturday it is good omens for the coming season.

Good Luck to both Men's and Women's teams on the 2nd
